Currently, I investigate the perceptual and cognitive mechanisms that allow listeners to separate competing speech signals in complex acoustic environments. My research focuses on how linguistic, emotional, and spatial cues interact to support speech-in-speech perception in normal hearing listeners.
My research interests are speech perception, audiovisual speech perception, psychoacoustics, spatial hearing, and emotional prosody.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Auditory Prostheses & Perception Lab directed by Dr. Monita Chatterjee within the Communication Sciences and Disorders department at Northwestern University.
